Is the Search Console app the same on iPhone and Android?
How QueryWatch differs on iPhone and Android: requirements, how each app is built, where the Google credential is kept, and which widgets each platform has.
QueryWatch is one product with two native apps. The tiers, prices and alert rules are the same on iPhone and Android; the differences are the minimum operating system, how each app is built, where the Google credential is held, and the widgets. The free tier lists every property your Google account can access on either platform.
What differs between the two apps?
| Item | iPhone | Android |
|---|---|---|
| Minimum version | iOS 26 | Android 12 |
| Built with | Swift and SwiftUI | Kotlin and Jetpack Compose |
| Google credential | Refresh token in the Keychain | Google Play services hold the grant; the app never receives a refresh token |
| Widgets | Home Screen and Lock Screen | Home screen |
| Tiers and prices | Free and Pro | Free and Pro, same prices |
What is identical?
The free tier shows clicks, impressions, CTR and average position, top 100 queries and pages, country and device splits, a striking-distance view, change investigation, a watchlist, 5 URL inspections a day, the sitemap list, CSV export and Demo Mode. Pro adds push alerts, a Monday digest, 16 months of history, PDF reports and more. Alerts use the same rule on both: the latest complete day against the same weekday over the previous four weeks, firing at a 30 percent change or two standard deviations, with at most one notification per property per day.
Which one suits which person?
Choose by the phone you carry. A freelancer on Android and a client on iPhone can each look at the same Search Console properties, since the data comes from Google rather than from the app. For a platform-specific view, read Google Search Console app for Android and check Search Console on your iPhone. To see how the apps differ from others, see Search Console apps compared.
Where are the downloads?
Both store links are on the product page. QueryWatch is independent and not affiliated with Google.
