Which Search Console app should you use on iPhone? (2026)

Google has no official Search Console app. A dated guide to the iPhone options, what each does, what it costs, and who should pick which.

There is no official Google Search Console app, so the iPhone choice is between third-party clients and Google’s website in Safari. QueryWatch, which publishes this page, is one of the clients: free for every property, with push alerts on Pro. The right pick depends on how many sites you manage, whether you want to be told when traffic moves, and which iOS version your phone runs.

What are the iPhone options?

Option Free tier, as listed Alerts iOS needed
QueryWatch Every property, no cap, widgets Pro 26 or later
Search Console for Google Multi-site access is paywalled Not listed 26 or later
Search Console SEO Tracker Caps properties; Premium unlocks unlimited Yes 17 or later
Google’s website in Safari Everything, one property at a time No traffic alerts Any

Competitor rows come from each App Store listing as read on 12 September 2026. Prices and features change, so check the listing before you buy. Sources and strengths for each app are on the comparison pages.

How should you choose?

  1. You have one or two sites and just want to look. A home-screen shortcut to Google’s Search Console website is enough, and it is complete.
  2. You manage many sites and do not want a paywall per property. Choose an app that lists every property on the free tier. QueryWatch does, and tags properties by client.
  3. You want a push when clicks drop. QueryWatch Pro ($4.99 a month or $14.99 a year) and Search Console SEO Tracker both do this. QueryWatch compares the latest complete day with the same weekday over the previous four weeks and sends at most one notification per property per day.
  4. Your iPhone cannot run iOS 26. Search Console SEO Tracker lists iOS 17, so it reaches phones QueryWatch cannot.

What do the apps not do?

None of them replaces the website for everything. Google’s API does not expose manual actions or property verification, so those stay on the web. QueryWatch is not a rank tracker and does not read Google Analytics 4.

Is it safe to sign in?

Sign-in uses Google’s own OAuth screen, so the app never sees your password. The useful question is where the access token lives. In QueryWatch it stays on your phone unless you turn on push alerts; the privacy details are in where does your Google token go.
